Angel’s Bone renderings done for Costume II, taught by Beth Goldenberg

Angel’s Bone is a piece about how society perceives childhood, innocence, class and abuse and how those perceptions allow abuse to perpetuate, as well as what the choice to allow this perpetuation looks like. These particular angels are children, perceived and taken advantage of as such by their caregivers. The surrounding community perceives these caregivers as angels themselves, and we look at the many responses a community can have to knowledge of abuse.
